Abstract:
Selected problems of drainage pattern in the Jihlava river basin
Paper deals with the geomorphology of the Jihlava drainage basin, mainly its upper part. The main SE direction of the river conforms with the regional slope of the marginal part of the Bohemian Massif which was deformed in connection with the thrusting of the Carpathian nappes. In the part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands between the towns Třebíč and Jihlava, many fault-angle valleys are present.
