Paleontologie lokality Obora
Článek v PDFPaleontology of the Obora locality
Permian sediments of the Zboněk-Svitávka horizon are exposed at the locality Obora. Plants are common and more than about two thirds of species were determined for the first time at the locality. Invertebrates are represented by two subphyla (Crustacea and Hexapoda). Crustacea were represented by the Conchostraca. From the class Insects was found the only fragment, part of a wing. Vertebrates are represented by fishes (Actinopterygii) and amphibians (Labyrinthodontia). Paramblypterus sp. and Paramblypteridae gen. et sp. indet. were determined. There was an unique specimen a skull of the temnospondylous amphibian, that was not frorn my collection (a present by J. Vedral). The family Discosauriscidae Romer 1947 was the most frequent. I studied different disintegration types of the fossil amphibians. They were compared with the disintegration of the living amphibian Ambystoma mexicanum.
