The nodules of calc-silicate rocks from Polička crystalline unit and their lithologic significance
The nodules of calc-silicate rocks from several localities in the Polička crystalline complex were studied using various mineralogical and petrological methods. Nodules are enclosed in the biotite to muscovite-biotite gneises and located in 2 km thick zones situated concordantly with the main foliation of the Polička crystalline complex from NW to SE. These rocks are a product of the metamorphism predominantly calcareous concretions under amphibolite facies conditions and mineral assemblage indicated very low XCO2.
