Mineralogy and genesis of the epithermal veins from the quarry in Dolní Loučky near Tišnov

Epithermal veins in the quarry Dolní Loučky near Tišnov (about 20 km NW from Brno) hosted by Proterozoic metagranitoids were studied using various mineralogical techniques, including fluid inclusion and stable isotope investigations. Four types of mineralization have been recognized on the basis of their mineral composition, but fluid inclusion and stable isotope data indicate that two mineralizing events took place only. The formation conditions of epithermal veins are comparable with other epithermal occurrences having the similar mineral composition within the same or neighbouring geological units.
