Abstract:

Compressional brittle deformation in the Karpatian sediments near Nítkovice (central part of the Carpothian foredeep)

The fan of reverse (or may he strike-slip) micro-faults was found in the Karpatian psammites at site between Nítkovice and Litenčice (southern slopes of the Litenčice Upland) in central part of the West Carpathian foredeep. The site is situated close to front of the outer Carpathian nappes. The discussed compressional brittle structures were created during compression connected probably with movement of this nappes.
