A new shark Otodus aff. angustidens (AGASSIZ, 1843) from the Menilite Formation (Oligocene) at the Litenčice locality
An incomplete tooth of Otodus aff. angustidens (AGASSIZ, 1843) was discovered in the Šitbořice Beds (Menilite Formation) at the Litenčice locality (Czech Republic). This is the first record of this species in Moravia. This largest macropredator in the assemblage was at the top level of the trophic pyramid.
