Abstrakt:

Conodont biostratigraphy of Jesenec Limestone in the Konice-Mladeč belt, Moravia, Bohemian massif

This paper summarizes the occurrence of standard conodont Zones in carbonates of the Drahany (Basinal) facies realm (Jesenec Limestone) in the northern part of the Drahany Upland. Twelve conodont Zones covering the interval from Eifelian to upper Tournaisian, and associated conodont fauna, are discussed herein. The southern part of the Konice-Mladeč Belt provides the most complete stratigraphic record of „basinal“ carbonate facies in the Moravian-Silesian basin of Moravia.
