Článek v PDFSome important and/or interesting fossils from the collections of the Moravian Museum in Brno re-examinated
During the inventory control of fossil material deposited in the Moravian Museum / Moravec Castle seven selected fossils have been studied. The scientific significance and/or importance of these samples as well as their description are discussed. An unlabelled slab of limestone with accumulated Clymenia was unexpectedly rediscovered. This sample was recognized as an original finding of Antonin Rzehak. The structure previously described and figured by Rzehak (1910) as a bone-shield of the Placodermi fish was restudied. His determination was, however, incorrect as this structure is most probably of sedimentary origin.
