Přehled mineralogie a ložiskových poměrů štěpánovského rudního revíru na západní Moravě

The Štěpánov ore district produced Ag, Pb and Cu ore since half of 13th century, Two types of silver-bearing polymetallic mineralization in the surroundings of Štěpánov nad Svratkou in the NW part of Svratka Dome (Moravicum) were described: 1) Pb-Zn (-Sb) type of mineralization with sphalerite, galena, quartz, Mg-Fe carbonates, bournonite, boulangerite and rare barite; 2) Cu-Pb (-Zn) type of mineralization represented by chalcopyrite, galena, cuprite, native copper, quartz, barite and calcite. Both mineralizations (with rare gold content) are developed in quartz, carbonate-quartz and barite hydrothermal veins (occurs mainly in metapelites) and „metasomatic“ quartzitic rocks (in the calcite marbles) of the Olešnice Group. The review of history, brief geological positions of district, description of all known primary and supergene minerals and genetic consideration are given.
