Abstrakt:

Nová Ves near Rýmařov – Pb-Zn ore deposit (Jeseníky Mts., Czech Republic)

Seven veins, a few veinlets and disseminated accumulations form the ore body in metamorphosed Devonian vulcanosediments near the village Nová Ves (Jeseníky Mts.). There were distinguished two mineralization stages with repetition of common sulfides and carbonates as gangue minerals.

The analyses of the fluid inclusions in sphalerite indicate the low salinity of chloride solutions. Calculated sulfur isotopic temperatures of sulfide crystallization (from 55 to 360 ºC) correspond to two mineralization stages. Sulfur in ore-bearing fluids was probably derived from the deep-seated sources. The thermodynamic modeling suggests that the sulfur fugacity change log aS2 from -4 to -17 was the main factor of the ore formation.
