Abstrakt:

Morphostructural analysis of Červený kopec (Hill) in Brno

The elevation of Červený kopec (Hill) in the city of Brno with its partial landforms represents an altogether rare landscape scenery, whose position nearby the city center deserve at least a detailer documentary interpretation in comparison with till the present time published partial information. It is formed predominantly by Lower Devonian clastical deposits, to whose tectonic structure and position (that means to the relation to the Brno massif) devoted his analytical and up-to-now not much appreciated study GERLlCH (1931). The revision of structural measurements (ROSTlNSKÝ 1998), its confrontation with morphostructural conceptions (KREJČÍ 1964, IVAN 1969, 1972, HRÁDEK-IVAN 1972, KARÁSEK 1991) and the relation of structurally conditioned form elements to the position of local famous Tertiary (RZEHAK 1919) and Quaternary profiles (e. g. KOVANDA 1982) are the objects of this study.
