Abstrakt:

Fayalite and ore minerals in the skarns from Kuklík and Líšná (Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, Czech Republic)

Sporadic aggregates and grains of Mn-bearing fayalite in the iron-rich skarn mineral assemblage with magnetite and ferroan clinopyroxene in the Svratka Unit were described. Small grains of fayalite typically occur between magnetite and hedenbergite and locally are partly transformed into oxidized or hydrated products. The BSE-images of minerals and EDX-analyses of fayalite studied including associated hedenbergite and magnetite are enclosed. Some other ore minerals (pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, löllingite, chalcopyrite, bismuth, and undetermined Bi-telluride) only on the Kuklík locality were identified.
